. . .aviation. Some of the trials and tribulations of those involved are shocking and often make you shake your head in disbelief. Many times they will make you laugh, and some may even be quite sobering. But ultimately, it's these fateful events that have made aviation so colourful.
Our hope is that FlyStories.com will become the place where all these tales can finally come home to roost. We expect it will be a place where the world can get a glimpse into the lively dynamic known as aviation; and where these chronicles may live on and continue to be shared as they have been so many times before.
Pilots, though they play a major role, can no longer claim sole ownership of this industry. The number of people who have been on an airplane, or involved with one in some way has exploded; with that so has the number of stories.
It doesn't matter who you are. Pilots, Flight Attendants, Mechanics, Passengers, members of Airport Security, Military personnel and everybody in between are welcome to tell their tale. No story is too big or too small. If it was one you have shared before with someone, we'd love to hear it.
Now don't be shy, you don't have to use your real name. Just type out your FlyStory in Microsoft Word, Open Office, or whatever your favorite text editor is so it is easy for you to edit. When you're done just copy it, and paste it to this site for everyone to enjoy.
